Remembering Lloyd Flem

All Aboard Washington regrets to announce that AAWA's former executive director, Lloyd Flem, passed the evening of July 2. His family asks for no calls.

The funeral service was held on July 15. Many tributes have been posted on the AAWA website. A brochure including edited versions of these tributes was handed out at the funeral.

Primary Election, August 6

Please vote, and ask the candidates you vote for to support rail.

Third Annual Greater Northwest Rail Summit, Spokane, October 8-9

Early bird registration is now open for the Third Annual Greater Northwest Rail Summit at the Central Library, Spokane, WA (virtual attendance is available). Register to attend at the All Aboard Northwest website: https://allaboardnw.org/summit/

The Summit brings together rail experts and advocates to continue working toward restoring a true national rail network that includes service to the largely underserved Greater Northwest. State Senator Marko Liias and author Anna Zivarts are some of the latest confirmed participants.

From Our Coalition Partners

All Aboard Washington partners with Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility (WPSR) and many other groups in the No on 2117 campaign. WPSR’s report, available here, highlights the significant health threats posed by Initiative 2117, which would repeal Washington's Climate Commitment Act (CCA).
