Washington Rail News

Washington Rail News is no longer published on a regular schedule.

For Fall 2026, All Aboard Washington is releasing a special retro print edition of Washington Rail News—a one‑time, volunteer‑produced newsletter created in the classic mailed format many long‑time members will remember. This issue honors the long tradition of Washington Rail News while providing a current update on AAWA’s activities, challenges, and future.

This special edition is not a return to regular publication. It is a single commemorative issue reflecting both our history and the moment AAWA finds itself in today.

The Fall 2026 Retro Edition can be accessed at this link.

All Aboard Washington, formerly known as the Washington Association of Railroad Passengers, produces a quarterly newsletter, Washington Rail News, for our members. Our newsletter features articles about passenger rail news and events happening around the state, recaps of our meetings and events, news and opinion columns, and has been produced for as long as we have been an organization (30+ years!)

Here you will find an archive of back issues of our newsletter, free of charge for everyone to read and share. We encourage you to read our newsletter, and if you like what you see, why not join or donate to All Aboard Washington? Your support helps keep our newsletter in publication, our website online, and All Aboard Washington hard at work preserving and promoting passenger trains in the great State of Washington.

The newsletter was previously published quarterly, according to the Publication Schedule and Deadlines. We are always looking for articles and photos. Please contact us with your ideas.
