All Aboard Washington’s Annual Meeting is coming soon. It will be held Saturday, December 8, 11-12 noon to 3-4 PM at ‘River’s Edge’ restaurant in Tumwater Valley about four miles west of Centennial Station. (4611 Tumwater Valley Drive in Tumwater.) Our program will start after Noon and feature two transportation leaders from the Washington State Legislature, a rail consultant whose work involves the high-speed -rail study requested by governor Inslee, a report on the recent national rail passengers association meeting in Miami, and a short look at the probable impacts of the recent election on Northwest passenger rail.

There will also be time to visit with fellow rail advocates in the hours from 11-12and 3-4. If needed, a Board election will occur.

The Board of Directors is planning to meet starting at 10 in another room at the same location.

We’ll have an excellent buffet (individual checks) for around $19.
